ADD disk Group Whith different RAID type to ME4024
Hello, in our storage ME4024 connected to 2 VMWARE HOSTs we should add 4 SAS 2.4TB HDDs in RAID5. Currently the storage is configured with 2 POOLs. POOL A there is a virtual disk group with 8 SAS 2.4TB HDDs in RAID10 and 2 480GB SSD as READ CACHE and in POOL B there is a virtual disk group with 4 480GB SSDs in RAID 10. I thought about adding the new RAID5 virtual disk group to POOL B and to create a new Volume of the size of the new Disk Group and to modify the tier affinity of the volume present in performance. I wanted to know if it is correct to do this since I need to add space.

You can do what you specified, as you're not limited on disk groups. You can have 2 pools on the system as a max, you can have 16 virtual disk groups per pool so in total you can have 32 disk groups
If you look at page 81 in the admin guide, found here, you can verify this as well.
