Adding a 224 to an existing 660f

I currently have a SAN with:-

2 x 56f
1 x 35f
1 x 660f
1 x 130T

4 x Windows 2000 servers.

I have added an additional 224f, all seems to have gone well, Array Manager has picked up the new enclosure and I can see all of the disks.

However, the disks all appear on channel 0 i.e they are numbered 0:18, 0:19 etc.

When I look at the back of the 224, I can see the light on the i/o module is on on the right hand side (as I look at it from the rear), and off on the left module.

I have tried changing the cable but no joy.

Does anyone have any ideas ??? The only thing I can think of is a full powerdown of the SAN to get it to kick in.

Thanks in advance...

You may have a bad LS or IO module on the 224 or 660.  When adding an enclosure you should do it hot, so I don't recommend doing a full reboot of the SAN quite yet.  Contact support via phone and have them troubleshoot the situation with you.  They will need array manager logs when you call in.
