Dell PowerEdge T110 with internal RD1000
Anyone know why the server backup will not let you choose the RD1000 as a place to backup to. It is not even listed. I see it in the folder list as drive "e". but will not show up in the backup software.

Hello ttcmartin,
What is the OS that you are running? If it is windows 2008, 2008R2, or 2012 you will need to use a 3rd party backup software to get the drive seen. Since windows 2008 if you want to use a tape device as your backup target you will need to either get Microsoft DPM or a 3rd party backup software.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
