I am getting this error while trying to remove a failed virual disk from a not optimal disk group Undeletable virtual disk Reason: Reserved Recovery steps: Release through application
I have removed all the LUN Mappings but the problem still persists
Sam - been following your KBS on here (youre a guru) and I am stumped on something - I dont mean to Hijack this one...
Md3200i replaced bad controller - bought one - replaced it now I get RAID Controller Module in Enclosure 0, Slot 1 - Unable to retrieve latest data; using last known state."
It doesnt see the new serial number or anything, thoughts? Looking for my serial cable now but no luck so far.

Hello SoutraMan,
When you removed the host to virtual disk mappings did you do so like it is stated on page 87 of the administrator guide? https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/common/md32xx_md36xx_administrator%20guide_en%20us.pdf
Have you also removed host access from your virtual disk as stated on page 56 of the administrator guide?
