dianostic tape - "dg" label
how do i create a "dg" label?
according to the service manual a diagnostic cartridge is an ordinary dlt data cartridge with a "dg" label attached.
i've got a hand-me-down system and do not have a diagnostic tape.

- tape type? (e.g. LTO-3)
- backup software? (e.g. Backup Exec 11)
- connection to the tape library? (e.g. fibre channel)

system: powervault 130T
tape type is: DLTtape IV
backup software: symantec backup exec 11d for windows servers
connection to tape library: scsi
