Factory Reset PowerVault ME4084
Hello everybody,
I have a PowerVault ME4084 which came with unknown login (username/ password)
My question is, how do I reset the unit to default, I'm able to get to ROM/ RAM command prompt but from this point I dunno how to continue. I'm also able to get to the diagnostic menu, but that is not useful at all. Commands like write erase/ confreg are not working, because at least I need to be at configure prompt and it mostly only works on switches/ routers. For any help I will be very thankful. And please don't say "contact the support"

That command does not in fact complete a reset to factory defaults. It preserves a lot of the current configuration. For example, it does not reset the user accounts nor reset the IP settings.
