Help With Partitioning Powervault 132t

I have a Powervault 132t (LTO3 & SCSI) with 2 drives that I would like to partition. I have went through the setup wizard on the Powervault and I've enabled partitioning. However Backup Exec still only sees one library. From everything that I've read in this forum and on Dell's support site, it should show up as 2 separate drives now. However I can't get that to work. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? It is my understanding that the physical SCSI cabling should remain the same regardless of whether or not it is partitioned or not. Could that be my problem? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like your situation is very similar to ours, so I'll describe to you what we've done, which has been working without problems for us.

We have two LTO2 drives in our PV132T. The leftmost drive has a SCSI terminator on one of the SCSI outputs, and a short SCSI cable into the right drive. The right drive has a SCSI cable that goes to an Adapted 39160 SCSI card in our PE2850.
 
When the tape library and medium changer drivers are all installed, Backup Exec's Device page lists a PowerVault 132T under "Robotic Libraries". Within this, are listed our 2 LTO2 drives, named Dell1 and Dell2. I can't remember what else was listed before we partitioned, but it should be something that shows you your 23 slots.
 
If you right click on the "PowerVault 132T" here and select "Configure Partitions" it will enable you to partition those slots how you see fit.
 
If there was a way to attach a screenshot I could show you more accuratly how Backup Exec see's our device.
