How to replace a faulty SP?
We have a Dell-EMC CX200 with a faulty SP (SP-B). We received a new SP and replaced it (just took the faulty one out and put the new one in). The status led starts flashing one time every four seconds, then once every second and then four times a second. We left it for several hours but nothing changed.
We are unable to use a serial connection. The SP shows up as unmanaged.
When we connect the fibre there is no connection (no light) on the FC switch.

The slow blink (once every 4 seconds) is a bios test, the 'once a second blink' is the SP posting and the fast blink is the SP booting. Normally when it's finished booting the amber led goes off.
I'd recommend to contact Dell support for assistence on this.
As for the part where you're not able to see the SP post on a serial connection, you should be using a null-modem serial cable (not a straight-through cable).
