Installation&Config help required for PV 132T on Linux AS3
Please guide me for Installing a PV132T (1 drive with option for 2) on a Dell PE2850 running under Linux AS 3.

As for the hardware, you need to connect the PV132T to an Adaptec 39160 scsi card (I assume you're not going thru fibre). You should be cabled from the controller to the drive and then terminated the other scsi plug on the drive. Do not move the drive to the other slot as the library controlling goes thru the drive that's located in the primary drive slot (closest to the middle on the rear).
If you need assistence trying to set up the library in Linux driver wise and software wise, I'd suggest contacting your salesrep and purchasing an installation. A driver as such isn't really needed for Linux (except for the scsi card), but configuring the backup software is a different story.
