Installing MDSS. Only installing the configuration. Not the storage manager.
I recently had to setup a new workstation and I downloaded the consolidated MDSS utility. I am running into an issue where it's only installed the configuration utility and the storage manager itself is not installing. This is on a Win7 64bit desktop. Not seeing any errors, just no storage manager.
No Events found!

Hello, LTParis.
I would recommend running the uninstaller from Programs and Features, the go to the c:\Windows\Program files directory, and delete the "Dell" folder.
Then, run 'MDlauncher.exe" from the ISO as Administrator. (Right click, run as administrator)

This should solve it. Let me know.

I thought this would resolve the issue, but unfortunately it did not.

A solution I did find, and is not probably the most ideal, is to copy over the entire 'MD Storage Manager' directory to the new install. That seems to be the only missing thing from the install. Would be still good to know why the install is not including the Storage Manager piece.
