MD3000 - Replaced SAS controller in host
We have an MD3000 connected to two hosts that are in an active/passive Windows 2008 cluster environment.
We replaced a failed SAS controller in one of the hosts which was causing the host to BSOD and reboot, and now need to tell the MD3000 about the new HBA address/ports (or so we're led to believe) in order to get rid of disk errors.
Prior to swapping out the SAS controller there were no disk errors, and putting it back in gets rid of them.
Where and how do we do this within the MD3000 software? We suspect the "Configure Host (manually)" section but can't find anything to confirm this. Also, what do we do about any references to the old SAS card?

To get the new sas address from the new card, reboot the server and press Ctrl-C when prompted to start the sas ctrlr configuration utility. Inside the utility select your HBA and look at SAS Address for each. This will usually show an address ending in 00 (port 0 of your card.). Port 1 is identical but ending in 01 or 04. I don't recall which for this card.
Once you know your sas addresses for the cards you can now enter them in MD Storage Manager to let the MD know these belong to your servers. Go to modify > Edit host topology and replace any old identifiers with new or add any missing identifiers.
Here is an example pic of one configured correctly. Note this guy has a single dual port sas card in each server so he has specified them with both addresses from the sas card (ending in 00 as well as 04).
