MD3200 Disk Group Failed After Drive Removal
One drive in 8 drive disk group with hot spare (9 total) had predictive failure [slot 2]. Wrong drive [slot 0] replaced with new drive. Spare and copy back on [slot 0] successful. Subsequently two drives [0] and [2] removed at same time (don't ask). Two of 3 virtual disks on disk group and disk group failed. Subsequent shell game of disks, but now back to original status before two drives were removed. All physical disks optimal. Disk group and 2/3 virtual disks still failed. Considering revive disk group. Advice? Out of warrany; no support; blah blah blah.

Hello drabdandy,
What you need to do if you are going to revive the disk group is the following:
you will want to use the following command via SMCLI:
set physicalDisk [0,2] operationalState=failed;
set physicalDisk [0,3] operationalState=failed;
revive diskGroup disk group name;
Once all the steps are done the disk group should come back online and you should have access to your virtual disk again.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm providing an update for the benefit of others. We did not try the suggested solution. We were able to engage Dell technical support which ran internal "revive" commands to recover the disk group.
