MD3200 SAS connection hotplug (host powered off MD3200 powered on)
Hello,
I have a setup with one MD3200 storage array and a redundant configuration with two R520. I need to make maintenance to one of the R520 and I need to remove it from the array.
Can I safely power off the R520 that needs maintenance and disconnect the SAS connections to the MD3200 while keeping the other R520 and the MD3200 powered on? Or is it necessary to power off the whole system?

Hello,
I did the operation and all worked.
I payed attention to have both the R520 power supplies offline before removing the SAS cable connectors. Now the maintenance terminated and I reconnected back the R520 to the MD3200 and powered it up. Everything seems to work correctly, datastores are accessible and found no errors.
