ML6010 library not being detected

Question

I have a new ML6010 with 2 scsi based LTO-3 drives.  However the adaptec 39160 adapter that they are connected to see the drives but not the library.   I must be missing something simple.   I do have multiple lun support enabled for both scsi id's on the adapter.   Any body have any suggestions?   Thanks..

Have you already setup a library partition on the unit?

Yes I have.  There is one partition, both drives are in it & the control path is there as well.   The only other data point is that this server has 2 Adaptec  39160 controllers (I installed the second one for this new ML6010).

o.k rookie mistake.   The bios on the adaptec scsi card will not pick up & display multiple luns on the scsi devices.   Once I built multiple lun support into the kernel (we are running redhat 3) it saw the library just fine.   Thanks...
