Power Vault 715N - System Error Message

I am seeing the following error message in the system log on my PowerVault 715N.  Can someone please help..
 

An illegal loopack situation has occurred on the adapter in device Intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet Adapter (10/100) #3. Check the configuration to verify that all the adapters in the team are connected to 802.3ad compliant switch ports.

Are you connecting the 2 NICs as a team...essentially turning them into one virtual nic? If so you need a switch that can support it. Ususally unmanaged switches do not support 802.3ad so make sure that not whats giving you the problem...or get a managed switch. Hope this helps
