Powervault 124T - backup by ethernet?
Is it possible to create backups on Powervault LTO4 connected by ethernet or it need to be done only by sas cable conected to server? What controller will work on win10 or some other "modern" systems ( I bought 3 external sas pcie controllers and cables but I can not get them work/ tried already on 2 mainboards).

Hello ruffpl,
With a PV124T you can’t use the ethernet port on the system to do backups. The ethernet port is only for management. You also will need to connect your PV124T to your host via sas cable. You will need a non-raid 6gb sas controller to connect your PV124T to your host.
