PowerVault TL4000 - treck tcp/ip stack multiple vulnerabilities. (ripple20)
Hi,
We got treck tcp/ip stack multiple vulnerabilities(ripple20) for our Powervault tape library. The firmwares are already latest. Any firmware releases for the tape library for ripple20 vulnerabilities.

Hello @Satheeshvs,
The TL4000 is from 2007. And the last library firmware for the TL4000 is the F11_3_20e contained in the Firmware Package A29 from August 2018.
The vulnerability you mention is from June 2020. So I am afraid there is not a fix for this vulnerability. I don't think there are plans to develop a firmware to fix this vulnerability due to the antiquity of the TL4000.

Where can I find out information on End of Life/EOSL dates for Powervault TL4000? or please share you have any information on this.

Hello again @Satheeshvs,
For EOL information it is best to contact your sales rep as they can look at your region and see when those dates are.
However, typically a warranty can be extended up to 7 years from release date. The TL4000 is from 2007. I am certainly unsure of the specific date but I think the TL4000 has reached the end of support life.
