PV 120T DLT7000 Jammed
Anyone know how to manually remove a jammed tape from a PV 120T DLT7000? It will not come out by any means so far, but I have seen instructions for a DDS4 of the same family.
Thanks!
Thanks!

DLT7000
Remove the tape drive from it's housing, so you can see the internals. on the underside, where the middle of the tape is. These should be a hole in the chassis allowing access to the motor. Use a torx driver to wind the tape back manually. once it's all wound back, you can confirm this by looking in the top through the plastic cover over the tape spool. Looking from the front, on the lefthand side you'll see a soleniod with a couple of claws coming from it, if you use a small screwdriver and gently lever out both claws. If the tape is fully rewound the tape should pop out. If there is still tape there, then get a bin and start pulling. Monitor your progress as at the end the tape has to disengage from the leader.
