PV136T library RMU interface.

My remote user calls me to say that when he logs onto the RMU he sees the " status " on the first screen under the status tab as " OFF LINE " but when he opens the Operator Panel screen and logs on, it displays "ONLINE" on the LCD panel mock up.

My question is basically:

What is the first RMU status page referring to with the " Library Status OFFLINE " in green font at the top of the list.

I know that the LCD panel display reflects the current status of the physical library.

Could this just be a html refresh issue when he first connects to the RMU web interface.

All firmware is at the very latest versions.

Regards
Colin.

Great.

Thanks for confirming that for me. I'll feed it back to the remote user. I've asked him to switch tabs etc to see if it pulls to real status.

Thanks for the fast reply

U DA MAN!!

You are correct, it normally takes 3 to 5 seconds to refresh the pages on the 136T RMU. I would try the following:

1) Clear all temp and cached pages from IE
2) Log back into the RMU
3) First check the status page - it should report online (if the unit is online) -- if not, wait for the refresh. Then head over to your control panel on the 136T - it should report online as well -- if not, wait for the refresh.

A quick was to get a refresh also is to jump to another tab, then go back to the previous tab you were on such as status (it should pull the current info).

No problem at all!

Just remember on that interface it does not help to click really fast through it, you are sending commands over to a technically complex robot. It is best to take your time and click with patience through everything.
