PV136T, running Demo

I have the original model of the 136T, 2-LTO-1 drives just one tape column, and a single-slot mailbox.  I'm trying to run the Demo, but...nothing happens.  I have the column filled with all 18 tapes with barcodes and the learn and inventory work, as does import/export via the mailbox, but, the Demo just says "Stopped".  Don't see any intuitive error message in the logs, either.  I've tried saying both YES and NO to using the Mailbox and Drives, and, the library is disconnected from the FC host, so that there's no "Host Lock" symbol on the front panel display.

Any ideas?

With the help of Dell Tech Support, I think this is figured out.  Evidently, it's undocumented (by both Dell and ADIC), but, you must have some empty slots in the tape column(s) prior to demo working.  I have only the one column, so, pulled out the lower 6 of the 18 tapes, and...the demo ran.
