PV220 SCSI upgrade from simplex RAID5 to Duplex RAID10

Has anyone tried an upgrade on PV220 from Simplex SCSI RAID5 to Duplex SCSI RAID 1+0? To make it more complicate, it is a duplex SCSI over two PERC4 cards (luckily salvaged from other machines). I have managed to find Dell's PDF doc --- Dell supports 2 PERC4 cards connecting to PV220 via duplex SCSI configuration. Although I have never tried upgrading like this before, nor reconfiguring a RAID set from 5 to 10 (or 1+0 to be accurate, and never got to know why 0+1 not supported as myth has it that it can recover quicker). If this is not possible, then my fallback plan is to create new set of RAID 1+0 and then slowly but surely migrating enormous amount of data (and all kind of fiddlings). But that would be too boring to watch! Much appreciated if anyone knows about this.
