Questions about the 130T Barcodes
Do you have to have barcodes on the DLT tapes in order for it recognise the tapes at all?
I have the part numbers here:
The part number for 200 of the media labels is 509DT.
The part number for the cleaning tape label is 9294D.
The part number for the diagnostic tape label is 0394D.
My dell service rep said that dell no longer sells these parts.
does anyone know where I can find these bar codes?

If you can not get them from DELL, you can try StorageTek. The 130T library is a StorageTek 9730 library. They should still have barcodes for it. Let me know if this is successful or not.

Honestly, I dont have time to waste trying to find these lables.
I have been searching all over for information on what barcode type/font/symbolism the 130t will read.
I have tried the following demo programs/fonts:
Carolina Barcode, JDtools, IDAutomation, and BarTender.
If anyone has any information that can help me out with this, it would be great.
I wish Dell would supply a little more information for their end users on this product.

I would be curious what solution you arrived at, as I now find myself looking for these labels, or a way to generate them myself. The documentation I've seen puts me off making them myself a bit, as they apparently tend to be flaky. Right now looks like san-spot will let me purchase just a few. Anyone with practical advice would be most welcome.
