Temperature sensor error/fan at very high speed
Dear all and thank u for your help,
It's been two days that our company is having issues with our PowerVault MD3820f.
The exact error having is:Storage array: PharmaOneSAN
Component reporting problem: Thermal sensor
Status: UNKNOWN
Location: RAID Enclosure 0 Enclosure 0, Sensor 2
Component requiring service: Temperature sensor
Storage array: PharmaOneSAN
Component reporting problem: Physical Disk in slot 12
Status: Bypassed
The fan is working very hard at high speed.
What to do in this case? Can the speed of the fan be lowered till the sensors will be changed?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Fatjon,
Can I get you to pull a support bundle from your MD3820f so that we can review it? In most cases with a thermal sensor you might need to replace one of the power supplies, but we need to look at a support bundle to be sure. I will send you a private message so that you can send me the support bundle.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
