tl2000 drive removal
my TL2000 keeps showing a warning because I removed the second drive from it
also in backup exec it is always detected again at restart (in offline state)
how do I clear that?

The manual says:
To remove the "Missing drive" indicators on the Operator Control Panel
(Attention LED) and the Web User Interface (System Status screen), modify
or resubmit logical library setting (Operator Control Panel: Configure >
Logical Libraries or Web User Interface: Configure Library > Logical
Libraries).

you could try reseting the library to defaults that will solve it, but it will clear your settings obviously.

yes
multiple times
additional info: the display of the lib shows drive 1 with a check mark
and drive 2 with an exclamation mark
when a lib has never had a second drive then there is nothing under the drive 2 (i know because i have two of the libraries)

have you tried rebooting the library and just deleting the drive from backup exec

that was also my last resort idea...I am pretty sure that would work
but I hoped that someone knows a fast way to fix it

Hello Homi99,
What you can also try is to try to flash the library firmware. When doing a library firmware your system should inventory and only see one drive and should remove all other drives.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
