Unbind request failed because it was rejected by the peer SP board.
Hi,
I have inherited a PowerEdge 6450 containing 2 x Qlogic QLA2200 cards which are connected to a PowerVault 560F containing two SP boards.
The Qlogic cards are connected to Port A on one SP board and Port B on the other.
The PowerVault used to be connected to two identical PowerEdge servers, but one of these has been used elsewhere, so I'm left with one.
I assume I have the cabling correct as I can mount the drives fine, I can also see the data that was previously being used on the Powervault, but I need to reconfigure the drives from the current setting of 2 drives in a mirrored partition and the remaining 5 drives in a raid 5 configuration, to have all drives in a raid configuration.
When I use OpenManage Data supervisor and try to unbind the LUNs I get the error: LUN 01: SP B: Unbind request failed because it was rejected by the peer SP board.
I may be doing something stupid but I can't figure out why I can't remove the current configuration, any help on this would be very gratefully recieved as I am just about the throw the lot out of the window.
Many thanks,
Richard.

make sure that both SP's are managed by your OM Agent. One way to tell is type omcli getagent and it should respond back with information from both SP's.
If either SP is not managed, clear the agent configuration and rediscover, then save and restart the agent.
