Dell 3630 Tower PSU failure
Recently my DellPrecision 3630 tower 460w PSU failed and trying to find a new PSU. The 850 PSU showed only 120Watts and the 460s seem to have a variety of different values so a bit unsure of the quality of build. I have read extensive notes on many cdiscussions and thinking the Corsair RM750X with 150 watts on 3.3 and 5v rails combined (20 amps each volt supply). My 3630 has a I7-9700 chip, CPU 95 watt cooling, 4 x 16gb Ram, 2 x 1TB SSDs (exchanged the Optical drive for 1), 1 x TB NVME, 2 x Red 4tb HDD's, P5000 Video, WIFI Card, Thunderbolt 3 pcie card and extra 120mm cooling fan on front. From all the reading I should be OK and wondering if anyone else has had to go down this path. Also the modular sytems means I avoid some cables not required leaving an uncluttered space. I will update after the installion.

Hi
Try..........
CPU Medics: offers a 460W power supply for the Precision 3630 family.
Yahoo Japan: has a new aftermarket-style listing for the Precision 3630 Tower PSU, including 460W/550W variants.
You can buy the Dell Precision 3630 Tower 460W PSU from specialist parts sellers and marketplace listings, with current examples including STIKC, CPU Medics, The Server Store, and Yahoo Japan listings.
The Dell part number to search for is 0FFD6, and the PSU is often listed as D460EGM-00 or “Dell Precision 3630 460W Power Supply.”
DOUBLE check for input voltage and CONNECTOR type.

I can't speak for the 3630, just the 3620, but I guess it is almost the same:
I have a Xeon 3620 and I confirm it can fit a standard ATX PSU - I have installed a Corsair 750M PSU and am driving RTX5070 GPU, x3 NVMEs SDD, x1 SATA HDD, x1 optical all without issues other than cramped, messy cables which I can live with.
If you do go this route you probably will need an https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eyeboot-8-Pin-Supply-Adapter-Motherboards/dp/B01A210HKO. This is because of non standard PSU-mobo cables in Dells. But other than that I think you will be fine.
