Dell Precision T3610 pci issue

I have an old Precision T3610 that I'm trying to use as a capture PC. When the capture card is connected the PC refuses to boot and will freeze at the Dell bios screen. The PC works fine otherwise.

I have tried reseating the card and using a different pcie port, and also resetting the bios to defaults. I'm wondering if there is a specific bios setting I need to change as this is a server PC. Does anyone have experience with this model?

Capture card is an Elgato Camlink Pro

Maybe because the machine specs does not meet the system requirement for Cam Link Pro:

    • OS:      Windows 10 64-bit
    • CPU:   6th gen. Intel Core i7,  AMD Ryzen 7, or better.
    • GPU:   nVidia GeForce GTX 10xx or better.
    • Interface:   PCIe x4/x8/x16 slot.

As for BIOS firmware settings, try to enable legacy option rom to see if it makes any different.
