I have a No POST problem with my maching (Precision 7820 Tower), I get a [2 amber ,2 white] blinking pattern, and sometimes it shows [3,2] (which is very odd) , nothing is shown in the screen, keyboard CAPS/NUM_LOCK lights won't response either.
I really don't understand what the problem is, it worked fine and suddenly started doing it (maybe after a power break)
but nothing seem to work. Similar Problem happened several times before, but the warranty got it right back, now I got out of warranty, and this time the screen won't even show anything.
If I may ask, you mentioned this same thing happened several time while under warranty. May I know how many times ? And what dell support did ? ( changed the motherboard I assume ? )
How stable is the power in the building ? Are you using an UPS ?
@mazzinia_ They fixed it at least 3 times, twice because of nvme.2 problems (they have installeld a driver for it or something) and once for RAM problems, first time it doesn't display anything.
@magava try : remove the cable from the wall outlet , remove the cmos battery , press the power button for 30 seconds , wait 30 minutes , put back the cmos battery , replug the cable and try to boot
