Precision 3620

Question

So im gettin a dell precision 3620 wit a i7-6700 cpu and 32gb ddr4 ram in it this week. I'm using it for musik production. I gotta budget of like 250 270 bucks and this seems to be tha best fit for wat I'm doin. My questions are wats tha highest ram speed I can put in it??? Like mhz wise.... I kno it supports up to 64gb ram. But I want it to run as fast as it can be. It comes wit a 512gb ssd and 2tb hdd. And it's only like 225 bucks. I also would like to kno If I can get any rgb accessories for it. Thanks

With the i7-6700 CPU, your system can support memory with frequency up to 2133 MHz.

RGB accessories for t3620 are not available. But, you can always look into aftermarket products and with some creativity, you may come up with some thing.

If you really want to max it out, get an i7-7700k* CPU. Then 2400Mhz RAM will operate at 2400Mhz. *BIOS does not have overclock.

Then get the proper heatsink for the CPU. It's the bigger tower looking one with a fan in the middle of it. Precision 3620 heatsinks on ebay
