The LCD on my Precision 5720 AIO has started to leak sticky fluid. And now I see that this is a very common issue with Dell computers, especially AIOs and XPSs. My monitor started out with what appeared to be lines at the top of the monitor, and they gradually got bigger and started working their way down. They're currently about halfway down the monitor, and that's when the sticky fluid started leaking about a week ago. It appears to be odorless glue that is melting from the overheating of the screen where' it's attached to the main unit, and that's why I'm seeing the lines on the screen. Functionally the computer works fine, but I'm concerned about it overheating and it's starting to damage my desk, and I think the screen will turn into an unsightly mess of lines and then I'll be stuck having to buy a new computer.  Unfortunately, my computer is just over 5 years old, and the warranty expired in March of 2020, so it appears Dell will do nothing about this. When I just chatted with a Dell rep, she stated that she wasn't aware of this issue, however the Dell community clearly would say otherwise!  Posting here to make others aware and also to see if Dell will actually address this issue. Otherwise, will be abandoning Dell for good and will buy a different brand moving forward.
