the computer is 6 month old. It powers on and off in less than 10s, no POST, monitor never come on, I think it is power supply issue. I need a confirmation that the power supply will remain on when it is pulled from the computer. Now the power supply behaves the same inside or outside the computer.
Like me.myself.i wrote, you should contact prosupport since you're under warranty.
This said, the psu has a translucent handle. The handle turns green if the precision is turned on (and the psu is good ), and turns amber if the psu is faulty
When updating the firmware of the power supply unit, the power supply unit handle flashes green. <<<< Maybe is this... do you remember being notified about Dell updates being available ( and you accepted installing them ) , before this issue started ?

No beeps or pattern in the flashing lights ?
A quick thing to check could be simply to change the cmos battery... if one dies, a lot of times tends to cause weird results

The computer will power on and off in 10 sec, before it gave the LED code. The computer is 6 months old. The battery is good.

Your computer is still under warranty! Why don't you ask Dell Support?
