Precision 7820 Motherboard

It's looking like I have a bad motherboard on my 7820. Service Tag 50G3PY2

My motherboard part number is 0804P1 CN-0804P1-FCW00 95I-00QS-A00

From what I can tell the important section is the 0804P1

I am finding refurbished items for sale that are listed as motherboards for the 7820 but have different part numbers. They look identical otherwise.

Is there any resource available to see what part numbers would be compatible with my system?

Hello,

according to google "0804P1 benchmark" , your current board allows Gen2 cpus. So, simply do a google search with the p/n of the alternative boards you found available  + benchmark , and check on the geekbench results if they show being run with a Gen2 .. that's all you need.

That's very helpful thanks. I'm curious since I am replacing the board anyway is there a version of this where I can replace the board with one that supports newer cpus?

If you mean Gen3 , nope. The workstation supports up to Gen2... for newer, there are the 2 new workstations that should be released later this month, and incidentally the 78x0 should not have a follower.
