SAS physical disk in RAID 5 not detected
We have a DELL T7400 that does not boot the operating system. When we enter the BIOS configuration we see that it does not detect one of the physical disks. It appears in "Missing" status and that it has failed. The virtual disks are detected. What could it be? There are 3 SAS disks in total.

Simple, that hdd failed. Replace it and let the controller rebuild the raid
You are in raid 5, you can afford losing 1 hdd without losing the data. Be warned that if the 3 disks were installed at the same time, and are from the same brand, the other 2 could as well be near their end of life
