What does the "autoonperiod" BIOS setting define?

Hello, The CCTK documentation states the following:

--AutoOnPeriod

integers ranging from 0 to 254

Defines the time after which the system should automatically wake up from Standby, Hibernate, or Switched off mode. The --AutoOnPeriod feature is available for configuration when AutoOn is enabled.

NOTE: The system wakes up from Sleep, Hibernate, or Switched off mode only if the autoon (AutoOn) option is enabled for everyday of the week.

What time interval is being specified by this setting? Milliseconds? Years? There are literally zero google results for "autoonperiod" outside of the CCTK documentation.

Thanks,

Hi,

On what product range are you referring to? Can you let us know the server model or storage model?

For my purposes I'm asking with regards to Precision or Pro Max workstations. I recognize this is a "server" subforum; it was just the only place I had seen any threads or information about CCTK on the whole community site.

We use the "autoon" and related BIOS settings to ensure our fleet of workstations have the best chance of coming back online after power events. I've never seen the "autoonperiod" setting used anywhere nor even returned by BIOS setting exports before, so I suspect it may not be applicable to this hardware. However I was looking into other ways we could use the autoon-related settings and came across the CCTK documentation for autoonperiod , so I wanted to understand whether and how it might be used.
