Wireless Headset Microphone Not Working
I have a really weird problem. Just recently I purchased two Precision 3660 PCs and a Precision 3660 PC.
The problem is that I can't get the wireless headset microphone to work with MS Teams, I have tried two different makes of headsets. The headsets work perfectly on other Windows 11 PCs but not the new Dell PCs.
I have been through all the troubleshooting methods I can find to no avail. No hardware or software problems were detected. The drivers and Windows are up to date.
Even a wired headset plays up occasionally, with Teams suggesting a reboot to cure the problem.
Has anybody else experienced these issues?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
I've been through these settings, and they are all correct. I've done an online microphone test, and it picked up sound from the microphone.
It's weird that the problem is just on three Dell PCs.I might do a full reset on one of the PCs to see if it has anything to do with the pre-installed Windows 11

By any chance do you have Dell Optimizer?

Ok. I'm guessing the 3660 also has WavesMAXX Audio Pro?

Right click speaker icon on taskbar > click Sounds > Click Recording Tab > Click on the device icon > 2nd small window opens > Listen tab > Check box for Listen to this device
Or ..
Same 1st small Window in the Playback tab > Click on device. If choosing it as default doesn't work, try Properties.
Approx. what you should see, though I didn't have headset plugged in at the time:
