Dell precision 7540 touchscreen (dp/n 01690)
I have a Dell Precision 7540 laptop that originally shipped with a 15.6" FHD touchscreen (40-pin eDP) Dell DP/N 0169J0. I’m considering replacing the touchscreen full assembly with a non-touch want to ask if its possible.
Also for the touch, can lcd panel and digitizer be separated.

No, not without destroying the screen. You need to replace the screen assembly.

You may also want to check with the vendor, as it is not uncommon that the back cover/hinge assembly from a touchscreen won't fit a non-touch screen-- they can advise you based on your service tag number.
