Dell Precision 7550 Ram Upgrade
Hello, I bought 2x8GB Kingston RAM DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM Non-ECC (model KCP432SS8/8)
When I install them in my DELL Precision 7550, they are recognized in the BIOS as 2933MHz while, once the OS start, they runs at 3200MHz as they should from the beginning.
My problem is that if I try to install them together with the existing ADATA RAM modules, they're not recognized (the workstation don't start at all). So I can't use the new modules together with the existing one. Am I doing it wrong? Is this a RAM issue, or a BIOS issue?

Almost certainly incompatible RAM with each other. The specs are here and possibly you have ECC RAM with Non-ECC RAM. The best procedure to install RAM is to purchase kits of matched RAM. In your case 4 x 8GB of RAM. And the most compatible RAM for Dell systems is from Crucial.

Thank you @JOcean , could you help me understand if this is the case? Here are the ADATA vs Kingston. They are both Non-ECC.
