Dell Precision 7710 keyboard

My keyboard has the 10-key pad which has a dedicated play/pause, fast forward, etc. key for media play. The play/pause button works, and the previous/next buttons work, but the rewind/fast forward feature doesn't work anymore and it used to.  How do I program those keys? I had done it before, but I do not remember how I did it.
