My Dell6500 was left on overnight recently without the battery in place.  We had a power blip with it being out for a few seconds and then come back on.  When I turned the computer on next morning the memory test shows, but when it nears completion the screen flashes and goes back to the start sequence, over and over and over and does not boot.  I'm hoping to save the computer, but have no idea what to do.
