One hiccup I'm hoping y'all might have insight on. Is there something built-in that tries to manage the microphone's input?
I have a few users where, app independent teams, zoom, etc the built in microphone's input gets throttled down to almost nothing. Making it impossible to hear them, I've updated to the latest realtek audio and Bios updates. Messed with the teams/zoom settings to stop noise suprression, used headphones in addition to the onboard mic. It still lowers the input to below 10.
My bandaid is a bat that loops, setting the input back to 100 - but it's not ideal.
I've also unchecked let applications take exclusive control of this device, disabled audio enhancements - but it still manages the level.
Optimizer isn't installed but is there something else obvious I'm missing?
