Hi
I believe that the BIOS Wi-Fi option is important for repair and recovery of the OS, when you cannot boot into the installed MS OS.
Therefore I am sure (hopefully) mine is active.
Also I read that it was updated from 2.41.1 to 2.54.0, but I could be wrong.

The Dell Precision 3490 BIOS update function is the built-in way to flash new firmware onto the system board, usually to add fixes, security updates, and stability improvements. Dell says the update can be installed from Windows, from Linux/Ubuntu, from a USB drive, or from the F12 boot menu’s BIOS Flash Update option.
When you run the BIOS package from Windows, the system restarts, flashes the firmware during startup, and then restarts again when it is done. If you prefer an operating-system-independent method, you can copy the BIOS file to a USB drive, press F12, choose BIOS Flash Update, select the file, and begin the flash.
Dell warns not to power off or interrupt the machine during the update, because that can damage the system. If BitLocker is enabled, Dell recommends suspending it before updating the BIOS. Dell also notes that BIOS updates generally take no more than about 5 minutes and that some versions cannot be downgraded afterward.

Yes, you can re-run the installer to make sure everything updated properly (and then exit/bailout).
The BIOS option for UEFI-Capsule Updates can be left OFF/Disabled as those generally come from Windows-Update (or the Linux equivalent) and are NOT affected by this manual Dell Firmware Updater.
However, if you disabled something in BIOS pertaining to BIOS-Connect ... it makes sense that you would have to re-Enable it if you want that feature to firmware-update with the others.
