Precision 5470 windows 11install
Dear community,
I am currently experiencing an issue with my Dell Precision 5470 laptop where it keeps trying to install Windows 11 automatically. However, the installation always fails with the message "undoing changes made to your computer" and error code 0x80070002.
I am aware that my laptop is not currently on Dell's list of supported Windows 11 devices, but I still would like to install it if possible. Can someone explain what is going wrong in the installation process and suggest a solution?
Alternatively, is there a way to stop Windows from automatically attempting to install Windows 11 on my laptop? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

On the contrary, the 5470 support page includes Windows 11 drivers so it is very much supported by Dell for Windows 11. If the update fails you can try these alternative methods. Go to the Windows 11 download page here and either click on the Installation Assistant which is the same as the update, or download the media creation tool which you can use to clean install Windows 11 or install keeping files and apps.
As for that error code, this page at easeus may help.

Download the Windows 11 media creation tool, make a USB stick and use that to upgrade
