Precision 5510 Screen Hinge

Hi,

The connection between the left hinge (next to the power input) and the body of my Precision 5510 has cracked. I've attached photos to make the issue clearer. It's putting a lot of pressure on the case screw in that corner which is steadily coming loose and it's causing the screen to scratch the body as it is not being rotated at the right height. It's also causing me charging problems as the charger port is now able to move, so slides back a little when I plug it in.

Is there anything I can do about this, in terms of both a quick fix and long term solution?

Many thanks

I have the exact same problem. I finally diagnosed my power connection problem to this issue. Have you gotten any guidance on how to repair it?
