Precision 5680 on WD19

Hi All, can't I charge and use my new Dell Precision 5680 vPRO on a used WD19 dockingstation (130W)?

I tried but both the BIOS and in Windows the notebook complains a weak low power charger is connected.

I did not (yet) fiddle with updates anywhere, but from a cold start with the dock plugged in the BIOS already complains its just not powerful enough?

Which adapter did your system come with -- it could be 100W or 165W.  The dock can supply 90W with a 130W adapter of its own, or 130 W with a 180W adapter for the dock.

If you have a 180W docking power adapter, it should be OK if your system needs 100 W.  If you have the version that needs 165W, you can't power it fully with the dock.
