A920 will print from computer but will not scan or copy
Hi,
I have a Dell A920 All in One printer that for some reason stopped scanning and copying one day. It still will print but not the others. Can anyone please help me with this, I really need to use it for work!!! I appreciate any help.

Hi, I have a similar issue with the A920 printer. I am using windows XP PRO OS at work. Everything works if I log in as an ADMINISTRATOR but when I logged in as USER (any USER). the Scanner and copier will not function! The printer function however continues to work. Windows will give me an error message box: AIO exe when I want to use the scanner or copier function.
AIO exe has encountered a problem and needs to be close. We are sorry for the inconvienence.
then you have the option of sending Microsoft the error report.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer/driver and and problem remains.
Thanks!

http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/default.asp
Download XP_fix.exe from the above link.
This installaton program will reinstall the missing or corrupt Windows XP system files command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt. The absence or corruption of one or more of these files causes a "16 Bit Subsystem" error.
Download and save it onto the desktop or to another location where you can find it. Double click on the file to run it once it's downloaded. If problem reoccurs in the future, simply re-run this program.
Hope this File should be able to Resolve the 16 Bit Errors
