I am trying to get my printer to scan at a higher resolution than 1200DPI
Everytime i select anything higher, I get the following message:
Scan File size is too large for available virutal memory.
Either:
-click the preview now button and reduce the scan area, or
-reduce the scan resolution, or
-increase your computer's virutal memory settings, or
-add more memory to your computer


i am using a Dell Inspiron 9400, with 2 GB of ram, and another 2GB of virtual memory.
I don't want to reduce the resolution, i want high detail for these photos.
anything i can try?
