Follow the information below for resolving the printer error.
Cause:Environment Sensor Error
Solution: If the printer has been used continuously for a long period of time turn the power off, and check the error persistence after 30 minutes or more. If the error is still present verify that the printer is used under an environment satisfying the specification (temperature; 10-30 degrees C, humidity: 10-85%)
If the steps above do not resolve the error you will need to replace the printer.
So ours is sitting beside a Lexmark printer in a room that is maintained around 70° F and humidity is around 40%. This printer has printed between 100-200 pages since we bought it and with this error, your recommendation is to replace it? That really seems to be a poor product. The Lexmark had been printing in that same environment for over 5 years without an issue so I guess that tells me where the replacement printer will come from.
