Cannot Uninstall A940 Printer

Hi, Several weeks ago we received a Dell A940 Printer and i just set it up two weeks ago and had a problem with it not printing, so i uninstalled the print driver and now i cannot uninstall the Printer. It keeps giving me the message that "the Dell Printer A940 is currently in use. Please wait until the  Printer has finished printing and then uninstall". I have tried this repeatedly and it willnot work.I chatted online with a couple of Dell techs and didn't finish  my dicussion with one of them, so i am going to see if i can go on line to chat with someone again, but any help from any one will be greatly appreciated.  Have a great day and thank you very much!

    Hi

Thank You for usin the DELL FORUMS.

Try going to the safe mode and then uninstall the drivers.
to go to the safe mode - restart the computer and as soon as the DELL logo comes up tap the function key F8 and you will have the advanced options menu select safe mode and then login as administrator. Before uninstalling the drivers make the printer offline by right clicking on it.and then uninstall it.
