Thanks, but the manual doesn't answer the question. I'm trying to save new settings into the scanner portion of the MFP. The default is 100 dpi. Who ever sans at the low resolution?? I don't want to have to wade thru all the menus when I scan from the machine.
E514dw / E515dw does support scanning initiated from the device to the PC. From the control panel it will be listed as Scan to PC. Unfortunately, the Scan to PC only supports per-job settings.
If you want to set default scan settings, then you should use the Dell Printer Hub (scanning initiated from the PC).
