DELL PRINTER SOLUTIONS CENTER
Im trying to correct a problem Im having installing the printer that came with my computer.(720) When trying to use the "Dell Printer Solution Center", it disappears. When I click the link to go to the center the page appears for a split second -up to about 4 seconds then just disappears.Without me touching the keyboard or moving the mouse. Ive tried closing all windows and tried it offline...still the same problem. If by chance I can move fast enough to click a link before it disappears the next popup will appear but then it disappears before I can read it or click on another link. What is causing this problem? How can I fix it? Any help would be appreciated and I offer thanks in advanced!

Printer is Dell 720 connected via USB port
Dell DIMENSION DIM3000
OS is windows XP home 2002version XP2
Also..printer is printing black pages
installed new cartridges Black and color
reinstalled drivers
still no print except for a light red that appears during test print.
Question was about Dell Printer Solution Center disappearing. Cant understand if its a software problem or what.

Try re-installing the printer this way first and see what the results are.
Disconnect your printer. Download and run this patch(it's ok, is for Vista but works with XP) to completelt remove the printer from your computer. Restart your computer.
Download the latest XP Drivers for the 720. Install the drivers. You'll be prompted when to connect the printer.
Not much in the manual about the printing.
Sometime the ink cartridges become clogged from non-usage. fireberd suggests soaking the ink cartridges in a pan of shallow warm warter for 10 minutes and dab dry. It the print quality is still wrong, suggest buying a new Dell series 1 ink cartridge from Staples, Walmart or Dell's Website. Dell's ik cartridges have a sensor in them and cannot be refilled. Refilling them causes problems. Please read this article.

The Dell All-In-One Center is in the drivers package, so you should have it.
Open the Dell All-In-One Center.
Start, all programs, Dell Printers, 720 printer, Dell All-In-One Center
Click on copying and scanning, update the list of applications to send scans to. Add whatever programs you'd like.
Scanning
Scanning using USB connection, open the Dell All-In-One Center, click on scanning and copying and scan from there.
Scanning wirelessly, use the scan buttons on the printer.
